MEDITERRANEAN - Greece/Dodecanese Islands and Crete
DAY 1: SAMOS – PATMOS (~28 NM)
We cruise to Patmos where you must take the time to visit St John’s Monastery which offers a breath taking view of the snow-white villas. The island’s small valleys lead to endless beaches for you to experience. Have a delicious lunch on board, relax and have fun with the numerous water-toys.
DAY 2: PATMOS – LEROS (~19 NM)
We travel to Leros, an island with deep green coves, beautiful coastlines and idyllic valleys. Here you can experience the island’s many known cultures, and the variety of architecture and cuisine.
DAY 3: LEROS – KALIMNOS (~12 NM)
We cruise to the small and rocky island of Kalimnos which is known for sponge diving. The picturesque villages, hot springs and sandy beaches make this island an ideal spot for some rest and relaxation.
DAY 4: KALIMNOS – KOS (~14 NM)
Our next stop is Kos which is famous for its seemingly endless beaches. Relax on board, enjoy lunch prepared by the fantastic chef and then visit the impressive sights, in particular the plane-tree under which the father of medicine, Hippocrates, taught his students.
DAY 5: KOS – NISYROS (~20 NM)
We cruise to Nisyros for you to admire the contrast formed by white washed houses against the islands gray volcanic soil; creating a picturesque setting. The dormant volcano completes the picture of this island as do the black pebbled beaches.
DAY 6: NISYROS – SIMI (~36 NM)
Upon arrival in Simi you will be greeted by the view of the islands steep hills which
seem to dissolve into the sea. This scenic island possesses remains of Byzantine
and Medieval castles which blend into her silver sandy beaches. Before exploring
the island, enjoy an energizing lunch on board.
DAY 7: SIMI – RHODES (~24 NM)
Next we head to Rhodes which is the largest of the Dodecanese islands.
On this cosmopolitan island, endowed with innumerable natural beauties, you can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters. History lovers will be drawn to the remarkable monuments that the island possesses.
